Shaded Buckets is a dormitory housing project located at Woodbury University in Burbank, California. Inspired by an armor assignment in the beginning our the studio and my passion for basketball. The project sits on top of the basketball courts on campus. The process began with an armor assignment designed to be a solution for an everyday issue that we face. The armor solved the issue of too much sun, which was implemented to provide shade to the basketball courts. The courts were also designed to become the new staple of the school while also being interactive with the dormitories with having color coded levels and courts to derive fun and competitive games.
