The Solar Futures is part of the Solar Decathlon design competition. It began in the spring semester in January of 2022. Its was broken down into 3 parts. The design phase, construction phase and completion phase. I became a member during the construction phase in the fall of 2022. This project is a single family housing unit that will be a dorm for a Woodbury University student. This unit consist of 3D printing technology, solar panels and a special concrete mix to reduce the CO2 in the air.

Building Footprint.
This video shows the Solar Future team measuring and placing the CNC foam outline of the building.
3D Printing.
This video shows the entire 3D printing process of the Solar Future Residence. It was three day process. Three feet was printed each day.
Final Review.
As part of my final, I created a video that showed the process of the house from all the footage gathered throughout the semester.
